Our Mission
Carrots and Flowers is a website dedicated to eating well and feeling good. We believe the key to wellness is simple. Make Art, Have Fun, and Eat Plants. We aim to uplift and inspire, offering simple, delicious plant-based recipes as well as articles related to wellness, creativity, and fun.
Eat Plants
We make plant-based food that’s easy, tasty, and fun by creating whole food vegan dishes that provide all of the flavor of a standard American diet. So if you’re new to the vegan lifestyle or simply want to eat more plants, we’ve got you covered. Beyond that, we aim to educate and inspire more people to transition to a plant-based diet to reduce animal suffering and environmental harm.
Have Fun
We believe that finding joy and pleasure in the simple things in life leads to a greater sense of peace and happiness. We encourage everyone to have more fun because happier people are kinder people. The world needs more kind people! To put this into a daily practice. we created The 30 Day Fun Challenge. Why not give it a try? 🙂
Make Art
We feel that creative self-expression is a fundamental aspect of true wellness. We support creativity and art of all types, from food to music, visual art, crafting and beyond.
Who We Are
Hi! My name is Megan. I’m an artist/producer/writer/curious soul with a penchant for vegan food and making weird art projects that typically involve hot glue and string lights. I live in Los Angeles with my husband and our three lazy cats. I believe true wellness comes through a combination of health, self-expression, self-knowing, and feeling connected. I’m on a journey to feel just a little bit better than I did the day before, to be a little bit kinder than the day before. One day, I’d like to build an art car and eat mostly raw foods that I grow myself. In the meantime, I love sharing healthy plant-based recipes and exploring beyond my comfort zones.
This is Pasha, my crazy talented husband. He is a cinematographer and photographer and our head recipe taster! Pasha films and edits our cooking videos and has a sweet garden growing in our backyard. We love to collaborate on fun projects like short films, Burning Man projects, and Carrots and Flowers.
