Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk*
- 1/2 large banana, frozen
- 1/2 cup pureed pumpkin
- 3 dates
- 2 tbs pecans
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbs coconut oil (optional)
Blend all ingredients for 2 minutes. Sprinkle a dash of cinnamon and a few pecan pieces on top then enjoy your fancy ass smoothie.
*To make raw almond milk, simply blend 1 tbs of raw almonds with 1 1/2 cups of water for 2 minutes before adding the additional ingredients. No need to strain.
In other pumpkin related news, I bought this bad boy in early October for Halloween, then left him on top of my fridge collecting dust for two months. I carved a Christmas tree in him so he can fulfill his destiny of being a part of our holiday decor. I think he likes being a Christmas tree. 🙂
